CADs - The Successor to CADforum

You won't loose your source of tips and reference information

In light of one of the consequences of the termination of my position at ARKANCE (see LinkedIn) - namely, the end of my administration and updates to the original community website CADforum.cz - the question arose as to which platform to use to continue providing support and publishing tips and news, maintaining reference information on AutoCAD commands, CAD formats, online tools, and software updates, and where to publish m own add-on applications.

I’ve been gradually developing and improving the CADforum website for 25 years, so it was clear that this time I’d need something more rapidly available. However, with the great help of today’s AI tools, it was possible to create similar functionality relatively easily and quickly, and the new personal portal CADs.cz - which you’re reading right now - will now be gradually updated with both similar and new content: online tools, databases, and supplementary files useful for CAD software users.

Why the Czech domain, again? I want to point out that this project is being developed and maintained in the Czech Republic.

The project is still in its early stages, so please excuse any temporary glitches, dead ends, and unfinished translations. Part of the website is fully multilingual - currently in Czech, English, and German - while other sections (such as blogs and tips) feature language-specific content. For now, a key component of a community portal is also missing - registration and the ability to post feedback. But stay tuned...
