Did you know that the recently released "Update 1" for Autodesk Civil 3D 2025.1 offers, among other functional and performance improvements, over 1,100 new nodes for its visual automation tool, Dynamo?

Dynamo in Civil 3D now "turns faster." It now offers more than 1,100 new nodes for working with alignments and profiles, corridors, surfaces, pipe networks, design lines, and other elements. This allows you to automate more time-consuming and complex design tasks, such as creating multiple corridors, extracting solid layers from terrain surfaces, or automatically labeling multiple design elements at once.

The updated Dynamo is also easier to learn. A fresh set of new sample graphs is now available to help you get started with Dynamo and provide inspiration for your next project. The node library has been reorganized for easier searching, and each node has been updated with improved descriptions and tooltips.

The Dynamo node library also includes the popular ARKANCE library (by Anton Huizinga) with hundreds of additional advanced features.
